The Plus X Award is the largest technology, sports and lifestyle competition in the world. The award honours manufacturers for the innovative advantages of the products focusing on benefits to the consumer, the environment and the future.

The Ikon series was designed by DN for Dali in 2004 and the fact that the design and technology are still viable at this level is testimony to the long term strengths of DN design and Dali sound.

The positively responded speech in Silicon Valley Building’s High Peak Conference Hall went through 50 minutes for students from New Century Professional Image Service and participants from various enterprises and industries.

The main sponsor, New Century’s Professional Image Service invited Mr. Zerman Hu, professor from Fu Jen University; Mr. Mountain Wang, CEO of U’ db Enterprise; and Ms. Judy Huang for 2010 Enterprise Elite Forum. During the whole afternoon the importance to 21st century’s enterprises and employees was fully developed to all the positive participants.

A big thanks to the many people in Denmark, Europe and Asia Pacific who took part in the DN Xmas Quiz. The response has been very enthusiastic and we have received many imaginative answers.

The right answer is that there are 8 Christmas elves. As a design office we noticed an intriguing cultural mystery. People in southern Europe and in Asia Pacific have interpreted the question quite differently and we received many different answers from these regions.

The draw takes place at DN on the 8th January 2010. Winners will be notified by e-mail and the prizes will be sent by normal post. Employees of DN and their families cannot take part.

The jury consists of influential designers, mainly from Europe. An exhibition of the award winners in opened in the Stuttgart Design Zentrum in late October.
